Formerly 35th Street Bistro, this classic French restaurant in Fremont revealed a new look: An expanded bar, chic lounge area with leather furnishings and a beautiful chandelier for extra ambiance. 35th Street Kitchen & Bar is now also a hip place to enjoy cocktails and happy hour with friends.
Chef Tyler Chamberlain and Pastry Chef/Owner, Michelle Citarello created a tasty menu of small plates including Dungeness Crab Croquettes served with sweet chili aioli, Fried Cheese Curds & Pickles served with house made pepper jelly, Lollipop Lamb Chops with chimichurri sauce, Smoked Onion Rings served with a housemade porter dipping sauce and Maple Glazed Belly Bites served with apple carrot slaw. The happy hour menu also includes a fantastic list of creative concoctions and some of my favorites include…
35th Street Martini
Vodka Muddled with Fresh Seasonal Fruit & Simple Syrup
Ginger Honey Mojito
Rum, Fresh Muddled Ginger, Mint, Lime, Honey, Soda
Basil Black Pepper Lemon Drop
Vodka, Lemon, Muddled Basil, Black Pepper Simple Syrup
Coconut Gimlet (my absolute favorite)
Pearl Coconut, Fresh Muddled Lime, Simple Syrup
After an extensive remodel, 35th Street Kitchen & Bar opened its doors to a beautiful space and the perfect destination for happy hour, socializing over cocktails in the lounge area, or for an intimate experience in the dining room enjoying modern European fare. 35th Street Kitchen & Bar has definitely made our list for both ‘Best Date Spot’ and ‘Best Happy Hour’!
